A power cable is included, but please note that it is not guaranteed to be the original Apple power cable. Original additional video and connecting cables are not included (we don't always get them with our trades), but are available for individual sale, either new or used. The 45W MagSafe 2 can not provide enough power and is likely to over heat try to provide power and will provide an erratic voltage to the Macbook pro Retina late 2013; which is likely to cause the Mac to crash and may cause problems with the battery and storage. The Apple 85W MagSafe Power Adapter is made specifically for your MacBook Pro 15- or 17-inch model, but works equally well on MacBook or MacBook Pro 13-inch models. It's held in place magnetically, so if someone should trip over it, the cord disconnects harmlessly and your notebook stays put safely.

I have had two Macbook Pros in the last four years. Both were new when I got them -- the first from my employer and the second I purchased.

Upgrade microsoft office for mac 2011 to 2016. So it's either the cable's end that's bad, or something with the brick, or maybe a kink in the cable. I know the wall plug is not the issue, because I swapped it for the power adapter that connects directly to the brick, and it still didn't charge.

I recently spilled some water on my Macbook Pro 15″ (early 2011 model). Amaon I thoroughly went over the motherboard and all connections and made sure everything was dry with no corrosion. Try to turn it on but nothing happens. Afterwards I tried doing the short but nothing happens.

The system automatically switches between graphics systems based on use (when applications use OpenGL, Core Graphics or other graphically demanding technologies, the system will use the dedicated NVIDIA graphics, otherwise it will use the integrated Intel graphics to conserve battery life). Also see: there a 'hack' to switch between graphics processors on the Retina Display MacBook Pro models manually?

It seems my charge cable is no longer charging my Macbook Pro (Late 2013, 15'). I know the Macbook Pro's port is fine, because my Thunderbolt Display's charge cable still charges it. So it's either the cable's end that's bad, or something with the brick, or maybe a kink in the cable.

Any activity? Here’s what you can try. Remove both memory modules and try turning it on and look at the light on the front of the laptop.

Today it has happened 7 times so far, by far the worst yet. There is no rhyme or reason to when the shutdowns occur. I've had it happen when sending an iMessage, using Firefox, browsing a file folder, watching a YouTube video, etc. I have AppleCare and called this morning but wasn't really helped much. He had me flash the RAM and said since I can't reproduce it with an action there wasn't anything he could do.

Click to expand. You would run into the same problem with some other newer laptops that use PCIe M.2 SSDs. The non-standard form factor is not the issue. You can find plenty of adapters and enclosures for the older SATA versions of the SSD blades. And there are PCIe adapters for the current SSDs. But there are no USB to PCIe bridges available, and most likely never will be. So to recover data from any PCIe SSD, be it M.2 or Apple proprietary, you need a PCIe adater and a desktop computer or a Thunderbolt/expressCad PCIe enclosure.
